Position Available - Investment Consultant

 

TRUADVICE, LLC strives to be a financial professionals advocate while helping them grow their business. Our TRU Analytics Group plays a key role in this delivery by ensuring that our partners are well educated on all aspects of our investment platform.

 

We are looking for an Investment Consultant to join our team.  The successful candidate will leverage their analytical and organizational skills and will be part of a dynamic team all driven to create great outcomes for our partners.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing data and proposal paperwork for financial plans

  • Assist with administration and maintenance of financial planning software

  • Generate and process proposals for financial advisors

  • Run reports and assist financial advisors with prospecting tools

  • Provide back-up support to trading and operations function.

  • Set Up New Users and train advisors and their staff to use our technology platform

  • Aide in setting up models on the trading platform

  • Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Minimum of 3 years within the financial services industry with investment-based sales and relationship management experience

  • Ability to communicate investment strategies in a clear and concise manner to RIA & IAR partners that enables clients to make informed investment decisions

  • Experience positioning and presenting investment strategies to other financial professionals’ phone and webinar meetings

  • Proven ability to develop strong professional relationships

  • Proactive team player able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and computer skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel)

  • Knowledge of financial planning tools: Morningstar, MoneyGuide Pro, Riskalyze, Black Diamond and Orion are preferred

  • FINRA Series 65 license (may be obtained - a condition of employment)

  • Candidates who qualify for this role might have title and job responsibilities similar to Financial Advisor, Wealth Management Advisor, Wealth Management, Financial Planner, Financial Planning, Investment Advisor
     

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time while maintaining focus and concentration

  • Ability to operate a wide range of office technology, such as operating a multi-line telephone system, computer, copier, and fax machine

  • Ability to read and analyze documents, reports, etc. in a timely manner

  • Ability to answer phones and communicate with clients and prospects

Position Available – Relationship Manager

Our Relationship Management Team plays a key role in this delivery by ensuring that our partners are well educated on all aspects of our platform.  The successful candidate will leverage their problem solving and organizational skills and will be part of a dynamic team all driven to create great outcomes for our partners.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Delivering exceptional service, guidance and manage the Advisor and staff's satisfaction. In this role, associates need to handle incoming volume as well as deliver proactive service with each advisor.

    • Communicating with Advisors and their staff via inbound and outbound phone calls / emails; often requiring research and decision making while educating Advisors and staff on processes, services and procedures

    • Assisting with all Operational, Transitions/New Advisor Acquisition, and Billing processes 

  • Acting as a liaison between our internal support teams, including TruAnalytics Group, Compliance, Transitions, Billing, Trading, Marketing and Technology

  • Striving to add value while being courteous, professional and prompt in servicing Advisors.

  • Having knowledge of the Advisor Relations client segment.  Includes knowledge of RIA business models, competitive space, and predominant needs and objectives of advisors

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Series 99 or Series 65 license

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements

  • An eagerness to learn and stay current on industry trends through an interest in new technologies, demographic shifts, industry regulations and practice management topics.

  • 2-3 years of experience supporting Advisors

  • Must have a sense of urgency, ability to multi task, excellent organizational skills, and strong prioritization skills

  • Ability to work in a highly autonomous environment while meeting all service demands

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to and succeed in a dynamic work setting

  • Outstanding communication and listening skills

  • Superior client service skills with the ability to effectively resolve concerns

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time while maintaining focus and concentration

  • Ability to answer phones and communicate with Advisors and prospects

  • Occasional travel including air or vehicle travel for conferences or Advisor visits
