chris sleight

Chris is the CEO and founder behind TRUADVICE, a platform built to help independent advisors achieve and accelerate their dreams without sacrificing life work harmony while also managing his own practice, TruAdvice Wealth Management.

hris spent 18 years at Global Financial Private Capital as Managing Director, where he helped the company grow from $200 million to over $5 billion by 2016, when it was sold to a private equity firm. As he continued to build his own practice as well as consulting and mentoring, he noticed a gap in the industry – there wasn’t a great place for successful financial advisors to grow and shape their futures independently. It was then that he had an ah-ha moment...

With TRUADVICE, Chris has created a home for independent advisors to work on their own terms, operating as a boutique practice and expanding their business.

Chris’ vision stands under five principles he follows to lead his life and his company:

1. Strive to inspire

2. Be an advocate for every family

3. Always be humble and grateful

4. Embrace and drive change to achieve financial independence for families

5. Do what’s right, not what’s easy

Chris has taken his lifelong love of giving back to the TRUADVICE team. They actively work to support Homes for Our Troops, Dante’s Den, InStride, Easter Seals, Child Protection Center, Samaritan Counseling, Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Animal Haven, and the Blue Alert Foundation.
